Trying to get axles from autozone for a B16.

Ordered the GCK New left & right for a '95 Del Sol VTEC.

Right one came in, Left one didn't. Had the guy at the store swear up and down, two days in a row, they'd be here the next day (after paying to overnight them).

Didn't come.

Finally, today, they said they can't order them. THey put the order in, but the computer promptly cancels it.

They can't call anyone (or won't), they basically said "We can't order that for you. Sorry".

To add insult to in jury, they won't refund the shipping on the axle they didn't even ship "We're sorry, we don't refund shipping"..

I'm like "YOU DIDN'T SHIP IT!"

*sigh*

So, anyone else have this problem, or are they guys just really stupid?

 

b16.. we used the 91 integra axles from napa.. but autozone .. never really had a problem with them either.. demand to talk to a manager, otherwise look up corporate number and call it in, make sure you have a store number to reference. good luck

 

they want to sell me some 'performance' axles. I forget the name, his selling point was "They have yellow boots".

Why the hell would I want yellow boots?

Grr.. It's getting cold out up here, I need a car back one of these days. I can't believe their computer doesn't function correctly and all they can say about it is "Uh, well, guess we can't do that"

Haven't you people heard of tech support?

 

I used to work at autozone and their axels are garbage even the ones with the yellow boots, I had a b16 hatch and went through 3 sets of axels in a week well then went to another auto parts store and got them and have been on the car to this day. One set lasted half an hour the others lasted a couple days each. Autozone axles = poop

ur probably looking at fenco rebuild axles.
just use 90-93 teg axles with no abs

fencos got a performance line "street somthing" they suck some serious ***. the ones with the yellow boots.

i would demand for ur money back for shipping becuase u didnt even get your product

trying getting a mevotech axles i believe they are new compared to begining rebuild like fenco

 

Time for a sue. If they can't do business right, why the hell do they still open their shops then?
