SO i tryed starting my car after the swap.

check for spark, fuel, and look at your timing.
Do you mean that it keeps cranking but no fire? Or what sound do you hear?
Also is this the motor you were telling me about or is this your bros car?

Sorry for the late responce i forgot about your thread for a second.
To check for spark pull out the wire and a spark plug, hook up the wire to the spark plug and put the end of the spark plug on your valve cover and have danny turn over the motor. DONT TOUCH THE PLUG ITSELF! Holy hell will you feel sorry after that If you see a spark your getting spark.

That would be either 21 or 31, i dont think theres a 31 so its probably 21 which is VTEC spool soliniod (sp?). But your car should still be able to start from that. What about talking to JerryBuilt to help you out since his in your area.

pull the spark plugs out smell inside the cylinders if there is any fuel in there. To check your timing put cylinder #1 in TDC and check if the lines line up on the crank and camshaft pulley

External Coil? Try switching the distributor back to stock. Also check your cap and rotor.

i smell the gas so i kno iam geting fuel, but i have no spark. i checked for spark from the plugs and nothing. then i checked for some spark from the coil and then nothing, so i dunno if i just messed up the wiring on teh msd or what.

Why not swap out your bros ITR Distributor for yours? Just to see if it would help it run at all. If it does then you know thats the only problem other then the code. Wish i was closer to you guys cause i would stop by and help, or even let you borrow my dizzy to get it started for a sec.

Just make sure everything is hooked up right, check the cap and rotor and try swaping it out. Let us know how it goes.
