is there ever benn a turboed legend sry for such a dumb????? and if so how much did it cost to do it

 

There was a turboed 2.7 Legend Coupe in Honda Tuning several months ago. Something like 220 whp...not too shabby for a daily driver.

But the guy plunked down like 25 grand all together.

 

yes but that was a 89 legend i believe. There are turbo Cl Type S'. Just visit http://www.v6performance.net and you'll find the Turbo CL-S'.

 

yes. i was thinking about turbo'ing mine for a second. there is a guy i work with that turbo'd a 2nd gen legend. said he could set me straight for ~4-5k.

the turbo job on the guy from acura-legend.com (the 2nd gen legend) was a completely shitty job. they used the stock exhaust manifold, no engine tuning, no heat wrap, and when you rev up past 6k, the map sensor kicks in because of the positive pressure in the manifold, and the engine dies.

not worth it.

and EGlover, get some pics of the turbo legend you know of. id be interested to see how someone else did it

 

the project was completed at a custom shop he used to work at. ill see if its still around. maybe he can give some sort of "write-up".

and IIRC there was more than one turbo 2gen legend up there
