Default motor mount trouble

hey guys, i have a 90 ef civic dx w/ a sohc vtec swap from a 95 jdm honda civic ex coupe, the thing is, the tranny mount and the motor mount on the same side as the distributor are bad, engine is sitting at a slight angle, which makes it hard to shift into 3rd gear, any suggestions on which mounts to get? by the way, im lookiing for motor mounts that i can get at a junk yard, from an integra or something like that cuz i only have like 100 bucks. thanks alot guys.

If you don't mind a little rougher ride you can get the Energy Suspension motor mount inserts. They will work with broken mounts. They will add a bit of motor vibration through your chassis.

My guess is that you only swapped out the engine and retained your DX tranny when you did the swap. You can't use the integra mounts. From the junk yard you will need to get mounts from another 88~91 Civic/CRX that had/has a manual tranny.

if your mounts still have any material lef tin them you can fill them with 3m window weld or 2 part urethane.

it will stiffen up the ride quite a bit but your engine will be happy and wont slap back and forth on a hard takeoff

i dont have the stock dx tranny, my friend gave me a integra tranny, i think its from an LS, but im not sure what year tho, i think the tranny is from a dual cam zc LS, like a 89 or somehting. Thanks so much for replying guys, i was looking to get completely new mounts tho, i dont want to keep these old mounts, they are the stock dx motor mounts, i was thinking about saving like 200 and buying some good ones, what are your guys suggestions? Thx in advance.

p.s. oh yeah by the way both the engine and my tranny is jdm, not usdm, so i dont know if that affects what kind of parts i need, well thanx alot.

usdm and jdm doesn't matter in this case. you just need new mounts for a 88-91 civic or crx or get the mount inserts they are like 20 or 30 bucks.

but what about good motor mounts, like hasport or something like that, are those expensive? it looks like the inside of the mount is cracking, i will go to a junkyard to find those wish me good luck.
