As topic says, i'd like to buy a PY drivers side fender. Some idiot woman mangled mine up, and i hate driving around with it...makes the car look stupid.
If anyone has one, please let me know.

lol, i only said PY because i know some ******* is going to send me a fender that is just yellow. Or "Pheonix Yellow" . So if anyone did a JDM conversion, and wants to part out their USDM front end plzzzz sell me your fender..

hehe, its not too bad, but its bad enough to bother me. lol. I would try the classifieds forum, except i want it to be off a PY R, so i think this is the best place to post this thread. Hopefully someone will feel sympathetic, and sell me theirs.
*Edit* I am now accepting trades. LOL

I dont understand whats so hard about getting a new fender and having it painted. Its a freakin Honda.
Even more, whoevers car the fender came off of probably wont match at all due to different care, climates, sunlight exposure, everything! A good body shop can actually color match it and blend it to how much your car has faded. Slapping on another fender just because it came off another "Type R" is pretty pointless.
And furthermore, who would sell a perfect condition PY fender? I know I'm not going to be stupid and buy some lame CF fenders, and the only other place I see undamged PY fenders coming from is a jacked R or MAYBE someone doing a JDM front end.

actually unless the fender was not well taken care of the color will match I have found a few. The main reason is that getting your own fender save you probably almost 1K in body work because blending is expensive as ****.

If only i were a mod...then i could delete your useless post...use your head, and think of the reasons why i want one off a Type R, and why i want a PY one. I'm sure you can come up with a few reasons instead of me buying a stock one and having it painted. Post *****.

You're a fool. You could have already had one from Honda or another OE fender from someone else and paint it. The VINs wont match unless you buy it FROM Acura and you havent explained why its better to get a scratched up, used and abused fadded fender than to get another one, and have it perfectly color matched.
If you were a Mod then this forum would be doomed.
You're 19, I would have expected more logic and reasoning. Guess not...

It is VERY possible to find a perfectly mint PY fender without paying 300ish for a OEM one and then painting and blending and installing thats around 2K total. Instead you could find a PY one in mint install it all for prolly 500ish. He's not looking to get a fender and have to paint it.. hense the point of this post and the VIN just scratch it out or if u get pulled over simply say you bought it as a replacement... I think both my fenders have differen't VINS from my chassis and motor.

$2000 for a whole repaint of the car maybe, not for painting of a fender. And like I said, the fact that it was treated differently, hasnt faded and been exposed to the same things as the rest of the original car, it will not match perfectly. If one were to not care about matching then whether or not it came off a Type R shouldnt matter or if its a Certafit fender or whatnot.

No theres a sticker, thats on the fenders, on the inside of the engine bay part of them near where they meet with the hood.
