Changing trans fluid
didnt know where to post in here or tech.. but i was wondering about changing trans fluid in an automatic. its a 95 civic vtech stock trans.. should i just drain and refill or use a pressure system and then drob the pan and clean the filter. (if there is one?) any info would be of help. thanks
you can simply drain and refill. For an auto you may need to do this 2-3 times (drain, drive a few days, drain, drive, etc.) because a lot of the fluid is still inside the torque convertor.

should i use honda throughout the whole process of draining.. since it takes a few days.. or can i used the pepboys stuff for the first draining.. and then a couple days later redrain it and fill with honda atf. just wondering bcause i have some and dotn want to waste it..as long as it wont hurt the trans..

I'm gonna have to try this, I have a gnarly third gear grind, just changed the fluid with Honda Genuine MTF and it helped a little but the grind is still there. GM syncromesh available at the GM dealer?
