Default 200whp dream.. can it be done with these mods?

current mods: t1r catback, t1r test pipe, jdm 4-1 header, aem cai

future mods: toda spec A's, toda cam gears, kenji chipped p28, apexi vafc

do you thinks its possibly to get 200whp out of these mods? this is all of course going to be dyno tuned..

get rid of rechipped p28 & v-afc for hondata or a'pexi PFC, and get a PFR.

you'll be probably low 190's on most dynojet dynos.

Eh....for some reason I think that your R is strangely stronger than the average R though. Most cars with your same mods hit about 185 or so. But we all know that the power between motors differs, but yeah I think that George's R is really strong for one reason or another.

Did you ever do stock pulls George? I am curious to see them.

why would he get rid of a chipped ecu for hondata??!?!??!?! that's just ignorant. swap that kenji chip out for a TUNED chip via uberdata....and you'll come out making JUST AS MUCH power for less than the price of Hondata (before tuning)

and i made 191/132.4 with just i/h/e with my 96spec itr UNTUNED, btw. all i had was an obd1 ecu with a J.Davis modified GSR map.

GK does have one of those "Fresh" motors. Also, look at his tuner. Im not sure what you all know about Steve, but that says alot.

I agree, I have heard nothing but good things about Steve, and have seen some impressive dyno charts from the cars he has tuned

With the current mods it will most likely not happen, possibly with the cam upgrade you will be close.

Mine is whatever the cheapest one is. Dave and Steve didn't see any point in the more expensive one.

Bone stock, my ITR was 158 HP on a rolling Dynojet at a NASA event at VIR. At the same event, Victor's '97 ITR bone stock dyno'd 162 HP.

My ITR later dyno'd on a Dynojet in Springfield at 182 HP w/Comptech Icebox, OEM JDM 4-1 and SMSP 2.5" custom cat-back (but including Carsound cat).

George has the S100. I use the S100B.. Unless you are going to use the added features.. that is all you need.

200whp for how long?
why 200whp?
what kind of dyno?

for 1 dyno pass to print up and plaster all over the net for bragging rights. Cause to some people respek and street cred are more important.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">why 200whp?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Cuz it's a nice round cool sounding number, unlike 197 or 203.

Whatever is more forgiving I'd guess.

tongue in cheek if you didn't already know.

Nope...pretty normal with the elite bolt ons like Hytech or SMSP....if you downsize the powerband, those peak numbers would be higher since you all seem to like peak numbers....errr...
