Default Tranny/clutch Slip Problem

today I took my 90 dx out for a ride after swapping my zc and it feels like my clutch is still slipping. about 5 months ago when I swapped my first zc I got a new exedy clutch on ebay and a different flywheel and a SI tranny, about 2 months later it started to slip.

So I thought i got one of those gay clutches on ebay or my flywheel was bad. I was swapping my zc cause I got a knock from being too lazy to add/change my oil, took it out and the exedy still plenty material left and pplate was barely used, so I was like wtf???

I put in a resurfaced 10lb fly and a slightly used center force dual friction clutch, new throwout and pilot bearings, now its still slipping when I get past like 4k @ full throttle...

is something in my tranny slipping? is my diff going out??

these factors may help u out to diagnose the problem:
-adjust freeplay
-no freeplay
-pressure plate springs weak/broken
-overheated disc

there are more that i can list but since u said that u just bought ur clutch i assume that these wouldnt factor in, such as disc badly worn, warped disc or pressure plate.

at WOT it starts slipping at 4k then catches then slips again...
rpm's also go up and down by about 1000 rpms, but I think it is because of the lightened flywheel

means it *might* not be disengaging fully. i would get down to the cable adjuste and make sure that the arm down there has at least 1mm of freeplay.

I doubt its that because this is a diferent engine and flywheel/clutch, and its doing the same thing. Its still the same tranny though, thats why i think its the tranny but not positive...

how do check for that?
