I've been hearing this weird noise coming from steering, especially when the car hasn't warmed up yet. I am guess that it is the axle or the power steering. The steering isn't as smooth as before, too. Has anyone experienced such a problem?

is it some kind of humming sound ? or something like broken radio sound?
go to Acura service center or wuteva check the transmission fluid
change mission oil and clean dirt

 

it's more a humming sound...maybe something is not well lubricated or a leak? Well I hope not.

It's the steering column bearing near the firewall. Mines was doing that at 20k miles before I had it replaced.

 

Cool thanks. I need to call acura for warranty. Do you know why it's making that sound? There is only 13500 miles on my car. Kinda sucks to have warranty work on it so soon. Thanks again, -Chuck-

P.s. I noticed that you also live in san jose. What acura dealership do you usually bring the car to? I bring mine to sunnyvale.
