ok so i hooked up my obd0-obd1 conversion harness but there is one wire i cant seem to find in my 89REX??? and that is the <U>service signal help </U>!!!! please help someone???? WHERE DOES THE YELLOW WIRE PLUG INTO????

Wow! I see what you mean, I only buy(wiring) products from the guy in my sig very simple, easy to follow directions.

Are you sure that isn't the wire that you hook to a toggle to be able to see your check engine "flashes" through the CEL?

i have the same haerness and my yellow is for your check engine "flashes" through the CEL?
just hooked it to a toggle wsitch and whenever light comes on i flip the switch and read the codes


or does it actualy have a plug at the end of it or is ity just a wire if just a wire then its for check engine but if a plug it depends on what motor you have iat &lt; some dont need

 

thanks man i got ya...so my check engine light wrks then...hmmm cuz i thought that yellow wire was for my check engiine light to wrk...i guess it wrks then, thanks again!

 

I thought that was what it was for. Without it you can't read your CEL flashes(obd1 doesn't have the window w/ the red light).
