Default Spring rates

Acura here in Fresno just moved so I can't get any info... I just wanna know what is the spring rate on a DC5 and what is it on the EP3 (USDM models)? If I am correct, their suspension parts are interchangeable/swap. Just want to know if I can buy type S suspension for my EP.

I've heard that the bolt hole for the ep3 is smaller.

The EP3 spring rate has been said to be 248f/440r but I haven't confirmed it. Someone also once mentioned that the RSX spring rate is a marginally softer, but piared with bigger stock sway bars.

Suspension parts have been interchanged between the cars with some modifications, but they are not identical.

if you buy, say, tein springs (stech) for a type s and put it on your ep...the front will sit higher and the *** will sag. I know one guy used some type s springs and it did this to him.

I noticed some guy is trying to sell tien springs for the type s and try to sell them as ep3 springs also...I'd hate to see the person with the ep3 that buys those, not knowing, then installs them..I'd be pissed...it would look like some fat *** is in the back weighing it down

but as said up top, some ep3, 2002-2003, not sure of 04, have different bolt size supposedly.

That sounds about how I felt after buying my S-Techs from Showstoppers without a word from them that they were really for EM2's.

I emailed tein and they never advertised those to be for the ep3, people just think that if it fits, it works...might as well get some ebay special ones...
