I know you all are probably tired of answering the same questions over and over again but I could not find a topic with my specific question.

My questions are, Does the head bolt up directly to the A6 block with out any modifications? Are the A6 and the Z6 block exactly the same? Can I use my A6 distributor? Can I use my Si computer and just hook the Vtec soleniod to a Vtec controller? Will it run just as well that way? It is hard to find a Z6 engine harness, and you never know if they will be in working condition. I know my A6 harness works fine. I have 2 Z6 complete heads. Any help with good upgrades other than valves and springs would be appreciated. Remember this will be an every day driver so it has to be very streetable. Thank you in advance.

 

The z6 head does bolt up with out any modifications, you can use the a6 dizzy with a very little mod, you can use the si computer and use msd rpm acti switch for vtec or get a boomslang harness adatpter to use the p28 ecu (92-95 Si).
