Default rebuilding b18b piston question?

Ok im gonna do a rebuild this winter and I need some info on pistons. I'd like to get OEM pistons with higher cr, so which ones to get i'm not sure? Keep in mind I have all the bolt on's and 62404 cams. The head will get done as well. Would PCT pistons be too much compression? Also has anyone used total seal rings? Is it true that they don't need as much break in? or should I stick to OEM rings?

So far I've installed Wiseco 9.5:1 forged pistons and Eagle forged rods. The cylinders were bored .020 over. BUT, the car hasn't been started yet. Should be a good running engine though. I've also done Street PNP, Crower Stage II cams, Crower springs and titanium retainers, re-cut valves, decked block, decked head about .012, Type R oil pump.....bunch of other stuff. DAMN I can't wait to fire that thing. She should be back on all 4 wheels after this friday. I'll let ya know how she runs......still need some parts though. Engine finally sittin' in the bay again.

total seals have a shitty reputation around here, check the FI forum.

Also, I believe the b16 pistons from a del Sol Si will raise your compression to 10.5

I assume you intend on staying NA?

Any particular reason you want to stay with OEM? There are some good aftermarket pistons out there.

I trust oem quality more than I trust aftermarket.
Yeah I plan to stay n/a, so what rings are good to get? and why do people hate total seals?

Honestly, the best option would be to upgrade to ITR pistons (US or JDM depending upon exactly what you want your compression to be). They won't have crazy high compression like the PCT's will, and won't offer as much compression as the B16 pistons, however they are coated to resist heat better, and even more compression can be found with thinner headgaskets and milling.
