Default AC Compressor Bracket

What AC Bracket can I use for my eg? It will have a B18C1 (94-95) swap in it. I am going to use my old compressor from the civic. I've heard I can only use the del sol ac bracket, but I've also heard I can use any b-series bracket? So which one is it. Thanks for anyones help.

I believe it does, but cant confirm until I check my cousins eg gsr hatch. Basically, the differences in the AC brackets for B series is that one has an xtra mount that serves as an engine mount and the other doesnt....................correct?

The mounting holes for the compressor are different, as well as it's placement in relation to the hoses. The only one I have used with the 92-95 compressor is the P54, I know for a fact the P30 won't work, but the 99-00 might be a different story.

or you can use the integra type R bracket that i have, use the ac compressor that i have, and just buy the del sol hoses to connect from the compressor to the tubes in your car. my friend has this setup, so i know it works. let me know if you want to buy both from me. i will work a nice package deal with you. jante@stevens.edu

Good Eye... yeah, del sol bracket, I don't know about the type R bracket in an EG, I don't think so though.

if you're wanting to use your 'old' compressor, which I'm assuming means your d series compressor on your b18 block, you can either use a del sol p54-that's what I did- or a crv p7h...both will work....as for those other compressors I'm not sure if they will work on a d series a/c comp to b series block or not......

OK, the AC bracket on my cousins 92 hatch DX with a 94 USDM integra GSR motor says P72.....

Maybe theres more than one bracket that will work

Hey, but you want to use your civic compressor. So it wont work. Not on this bracket that is.

Of course the compressor wont bolt up. Maybe I typed something wrong. The bracket however will bolt up.

Back from the dead

I have a 00 jdm itr a/c bracket and a JDM D15B a/c compressor, the 2 DO NOT FIT, a/c b olts dont line up

I have just picked up a P30 and P72 A/c bracket and they look identical, but will either work?
Shame as the ITR one is cast ally and a fair bit lighter than the cast steel P30/p72 brackets

Going to the shop tomorrow to checki so will report back but would like to know in advance, save a wasted 200mile round trip
