What would be involved in steam cleaning it. I know that they do it to used cars but I have no idea what I would need to do this.

I just finished cleaning a B18 block with a foaming Gunk engine degreaser, it works great. Oh, and a brush works wonders also.

i used orange foam cleaner, engine degreaser, and silver spray paint(not heat type) and my motor looks brand-new. the reason i used non heat resistant paint is because i didnt want the glossyness and bright silver spray painted color to show i wanted more of a stock block steam-cleaned color and thats what happened. it basically stained the black stains silverish grey

lazy people opt for paint lol jk.. ( well not really )

polish the the **** out of it.. if you want a clean finish.. its aluminum .

the paint will start to chip if you dont bake it propertly.

just my 2 cents.. cuz i love the finish you can get out of aluminum
