Default Need help with my DB1 Integra

Well, i got a 1990 integra shell for next to nothing. It originally had a b17a gasr motor swapped into it, but my buddy had bought the car and swapped out the engine into his crx.

Anyways, i bought a bone stock 1990 b18a motor to go back in its place for my winter car.

I have one problem though, the 1990 motor is a obd0 and the car is obd1, the wiring is all WRONG. None, of the plugs match up at all.

Now, i have a few options.

My friend has two wiring harneses, one obd1 and one obd0. One is for b18b and one is for b18a. So if i wire the engine to be all obd1, what would i need to make this run? The compluter plugs are all totally different, and plug into a obd1 ecu nicely(but i have a obd0 ecu)

I have a obd1 ecu in my ITR, but it has a kenji chip with a 5200 x over and 9200 redline so i dont think it would be best for this car to use with.

I also have someone also that just did the same type of swap, but he is putting obd1 into a obd0 car. What parts would we need to swap with each other to get our cars going?

What should i do?

Thank you all in advance, i am very stumped what do and is making me frustrated as need some answers which no-one else can give me.

Wire it for OBD-0. I don't think you can wire an OBD-0 motor to be OBD-1. I think you would have to add some things that it just doesn't have. I'm not too sure of the differences b/w 0 and 1, but I know they are more than a few.

You could sell your motor and find a B18 that is OBD-1 or get an OBD-1 B16 long block (without the nice fd in the b16 tranny though...). Both can be had for around the same price, with the b16 being a little more expensive. Good luck...sounds like you have a handful.
