91 Honda Prelude looking for proformance is turbo a good idea?
I recently purchased a 91 prelude, and i really need to rebuild the motor (186000 miles) I know it should go for more but it has been run ragged. anyway I want to turbo charge, do they make a kit, if so what company, if not what else can I do?
ludespeed had a kit but for all the money it would cost to rebuild the motor, swap in a h22a=200hp, add and intake, exhaust, cams and some other stuff and you will be alot happier

First of all the h22 dosent make 200 whp. second of all is it worth rebuilding the motor of such an old car? you can do whatever you want to whatever want but It all comes down to how much money you have
my bad i meant 200 hp at the fly wheel but with simple bolt ons it makes up for it, but overall its better than the stoch engine
A H22 is a difficult and expensive swap.
Get a JDM B20, they arent expensive at all, then turbo it, should be a good 200whp and much cheaper than H22.

go to preludepower.com and check the for sale section. buy the engine that is already built for boost. then get a custom manifold produced (no one makes a mass produced manifold for the b20a5-b20a motor). then collect the bits for the kit here and there. then get a standalone like hondata or the do it yourself standalone uberdata. then put it all together and run 25psi on the street and eat tires and mustangs.
or you could get forged parts for your motor and the have your block resleeved.

you do not want to go there.
there is too much moding that needs to be done for the other b series heads to fit on the b20a5 (prelude) block.
just get a custom manifold made by mario and go from there.
