Default Brakes squeaking? Time to change pads; How do I change them?

My brakes are beginning ot squeak so I think my pads need ot be changed. They've seen 10000 miles and three track events. I have some Hawk HP Plus pads to put on, but my question is how do I do it?

time to get a helms manuel...just follow the instructions!!!! if you have done 3 track events without bleeding your brakes you are just asking for brake failure!!

My brakes are beginning ot squeak so I think my pads need ot be changed.
You can check the thickness of the braking material at the top of the outer pad by looking through the spokes of the wheel (see detailed instructions in the NSX FAQ link below). If it's about 2 mm thick or less, change them. (It's possible for it to be thicker than 2 mm here but still thinner on the inside pad, so if you want to be thorough, you need to remove the wheels and check the entire pad on each side of the rotor.)

my question is how do I do it?
Same way as on the NSX. A how-to for checking and changing brake pads is in the NSX FAQ at http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/DIY/brakepads.htm

haha me and bom put in my pep boys raybestos after my rear right pad grinded up my rotor and took us a hefty 4hrs! 1st time experimental on the rears so we went back and forth thinking we needed a C clamp...turns out u just turn cross. didn't bleed the brakes...lost a lil fluid and loss of brake pressure for about 2 weeks left me pumping my brakes to get regular pressure back again. be careful driving if that ever happens to u...make sure u keep ur distance. good luck
