Whats the difference between them .. meaning:

If I had my H22 and H23 injectors in a box, shook it up, and wanted to put them in the correct engines , how would I be able to know what are the H22 and what are the H23 ?

not sure if this is a valid way to check, but i believe that the h22 injector had an orange tip i dunno. hopefully someone will chime in

I've swapped injectors between an H23, an Accord F22B1, and a 99spec H22A4, and everything fit perfectly, and performed just like stock.

No they are different h23 240cc and h22(93-93) are 340cc and 97-01 290cc.

yeah, they are very different. i've tried using h23 and h22 injectors in my h22. it ran hella lean with h23 injectors.

my h23 injectors i believe had yellow/orange spots and the h22 had blue. i'm not sure if that's the right way to tell them apart but as far as i could tell, that is the only way.

You use the spots of color to tell the difference.
The H22 injectors have the light blue spots.

 

only way for sure is a flow test...as far as i know...

my buddies h23 looks just like my h22

 

Yup, no for sure way to tell other than flow rate. I just went through all the hassel of trying to find out how to tell them apart, cuz I just bought some from a junk yard and I wasnt sure if they were h22 injectors or not.(they weren't). Although the h22 ones do have blue spots on them,however if the spots are rubbed off then you can't tell.

 

My h22a injectors had green tips. (they were jdm) but I dont that should make a difference.

 

FWIW OBD1 H22 on left OBD1 H23 on right...

I swapped injectors in my h22 which has been throwing o2 (41) knock (23) and vtec selenoid (21) codes ... I put in the *thought* to be h22 injectors, which I think are h23 .. .. if you can follow.

The injectors in front of me have both a white and blue dot on the ridge looking down at it, the bottoms are black and in the dots says "1FK6". The dots are covered in white paint ... very very interesting .. on the other side it says KEI MIN and japan .. no numbers anywhere.

anyways, in the pic above :

H22 on the left, black bottom going into the Intake Manifold, the top is yellowish (maybe clear when new ?) .. It has on the side of it a blue splash with a blue dot ... reads "USJK" in the little dots.

H23 (on the right) the bottom is more redish/orangish top is also redish/orangish, accross the dots with lettering its white ...

Now from this photo, it seems a mirror image to the injectors I have in front of me(which I pulled out of my H22) in mine when the plug is facing left, i see the plack protruding square and the numbers .. on the opposite side is the japan and other lettering .. i have taken a pic and will host it later.
