I'm trying to find the knock sensor for my motor. on one of the posts that I searched it said that there isn't one on the z6 so is there also not one on the d15? and if there is one where is it and what does it look like?

 

I'm not sure if your motor has it or not, but on my b18c1, its on the back of the block, right below the head, above the oil filter/pressure sender. It's a 2-prong connector.

 

yeah I took a look on my b16 and found it so I went and stuck my hand on my hot engine( well warm anyway) and felt around down there but didn't feel anything.....
no jokes about that statement.

 

Why are you trying to find it? are you throwing a code for it or something?

 

no my motor has been in my car since christmas and I just have gotton enough money and time to hook up the vtec and convert to obd1. and I need it running properly so I can drive it down to phoenix from Kansas for school in a month.
