check engine throwing a code 45?
does this mean the fuel is too rich or too lean? (according the the integra code list but i'm assuming it's the same). if it is, what could be causing it to not run properly. i'm thinking it might be the o2 sensor but i've also heard the pcv valve could cause this condition too. any suggestion? anyone know any procedure to diagnosing this problem. i could check the spark plug wether it's running lean or rich but where do i go from there? thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the O2 sensor isn't 45. I think it's in the 30's, I'm not 100% though. Take it up to the local auto store or dealership and they'll figure it out soon enough.
if you know a estimate of about how many miles your getting to the gallon, then you can tell if it is running lean or rich. if rich then of course you'll be getting little miles to the gallon if lean then you'll be gettin alot of mile to the gallon. the is the easiest way but you can also back prob the o2 sensor
1. insufficient fuel pump flow or pressure
2. clogged or leaking fuel feed line
3. fuel pressure regulator stuck open
4. clogged fuel filter
5. clogged or air blocked fuel injector
6. fuel octane level less than specified
7. a deteriorated HO2S-1
8. MAP sensor range/performance
9. excessive EGR system flow
10. proper valve adjustment
11. exhaust system leak
Check O2 sensor voltage (while car is warm). If voltage does not stay at less than .3 or more than .6 replace HO2S-1.
Using a vacuum pump, apply vacuum to EVAP purge control solenoid valve from intake manifold side. If vacuum does not hold, replace solenoid valve. If vacuum holds, check valve clearance and EGR system. If no problem is found, replace injectors.
Good luck.
