How much do you guys pay for insurance
Hey guys, Im a current EF civic owner and I'm looking at buying a 92-93 integra GS-R. Right now I'm 18 years old, 1 speeding ticket for 15 over, and Im paying 102 dollars a month for my 91 civic. What do you guys think my insurance would be per month (just a ballpark) for the GS-R, full coverage of course. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to call your insurance carrier. Every state/every person/every car is different honestly.
Just for example, my insurance carrier here had ALL models of the Integra under the same category. Yes, this included the Type R and the RS. They were only concerned with the number of doors.
Too bad my parents didn't know this when they bought my LS coupe as a HS graduation present. Only reason we didn't get the GSR is because of the potential insurance increase. Unfortunately, later we found out ALL Integra coupes were the same price.

i tryed out progessive and they said $365 a month!!! How could that be, I must have done something wrong. I have a speeding ticket for 15 over, I just got it 3 days ago actually,my first ticket. Could it really affect insurance costs that much?<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Electron_LS-Vtec »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I have a 91 ls, I am 19 and i pay 118 for a month.... good luck finding a gsr in that generation.</TD></TR></TABLE>

$270 a month for 94 gsr and 02 wrx, both full coverage...everything except rental and towing....i'm 22 and my husband is 27....ive had a lot of not at fault claims though (totalled out 4 cars) and some tickets so it was really hard to find a company that would take me!
'94 LS, i'm paying $100/month for CHEAPEST liability ONLY, 'cause my state farm agent is a greedy *****. i'm 26, NO traffic violations EVER(had license for 9yrs) and it's a multicar policy with my parents. i just bought '04 Evo8, so i'm thinking of getting the hell out of state farm and getting NJ manufacturers or something. my friends are paying only slightly more for brand new cars with FULL coverage! so hopefully i'll get a nice discount for my 2 cars.
I'm 25, have been driving since 16, and have a perfect record. No tickets, no accidents, nothing ever. Car is garraged (make a difference) and has lo-jack (in cali 20% disocunt by law) and State Farm quoted me $220 a month for full coverage. Progressive has been my best offer at what works out to $125 a month, since they charge for 4 out of 6 months (at $187 a month) for some reason.
And this is for a 00 gsr.

my insurance is $1200 or so a year for a mint/new condition 1984 prelude stocker(2nd gen), a 1999 toyota corolla stocker and a 1992 integra GS-R not so stocker... but then again I am much older than you :-P. this is with full, high limits.
By the By... where are you planning on finding a 92-93 GS-R?

about $120/mo full coverage here from Allstate, 1994 GS-R. I'm waiting for it to take a nosedive when I turn 25 in January, hopefully.
I think I have one ticket on my record, if that non-moving violation is on it, but I'm not sure.
