Well I finished my car up just in time to be able to make the race. I was thinking about running the SFWD class since we had about 6 cars total competiing, or the Super Comp class because I hadn't ran the car yet. In the end I just decieded to do the Super comp class (only on 10psi, and was using my freinds 20in slicks) with the thought that I would have more of a chance to do well.

1st trial pass (on Azenis) -

- 60ft...2.5 (bogged it BAD. Forgot the T4 would have a hard time spooling out of the hole )
- 1/4... 14.4 @ 107.55

2nd trial pass (on slicks) -
- 60ft...2.3 (I wasn't able to do a burn-out because the ******* idiots had no water in the box)
-1/4... 14.0 @ 107.98

With those trap speeds in mind I just set my Dial In @ 13.7 thinking that I wouldn't get a huge launch with those tiny *** slicks. Man was I wrong...

The first and only race...
60ft... 1.83 (Launched @ 7000 and slip dumped the clutch. Just roasted the tires but still pulled like all hell).
-1/4... 13.4 @ 98.5 (I passed the other car like nothing, got on the brakes hard and passed the line with him right next to me. However, I guess It was too little to late.)

Eventhough I broke out, I was still happy as hell to get a 13.4 on the brakes. My trap is good for a 12, and I'm only on 10psi so overall I was estatic. I've never been faster than a 15.4 previous to this day, so it all felt pretty damn good.

I also have to give props out to Servion! WOOT! He won the SFWD class with a 10.98! Way to go buddy, you deserve it!

It was actually a 10.94, but who's counting I'm just stoked that I was able to trap 137.19 on a different run... the best e.t. run I had was @ 135. As soon as I can completely eliminate my "blowing out the spark" issue, I'll be able to turn it up another couple PSI. The thing that stinks was that I was running constantly 5mph and .2 tenths slower in the 1/8th than my previous best. I'm losing traction with the 24.5"x8.5"x13" slicks through 2nd As soon as I can fix that and drive it a little better, hello mid-low 10's (I hope)

B: Congrats on the good traps! You need to get that sucker tuned for high boost... it's going to be MEAN. Keep us updated

I'll let you know when I'm gonna head to the dyno. Would you reccomend PFI's?

I should be able to go in a few weeks hopefully.

 

I like using PFI's dyno. They're prices are good, and they are not asses about each little minute that you're on it. That and they're very knowledgable. Brent loves doing this kind of stuff, and he'll give you good advice as you tune if you want it.
