The finished product pics + VID :)
Got the little gremlins sorted out last week, and just in time for the Bandimere event on Sunday.
VID of my 2nd run (10mb)
http://www.thezcr.com/vids/Bryson.mov
1st trial pass (on Azenis) -
- 60ft...2.5 (bogged it BAD. Forgot the T4 would have a hard time spooling out of the hole )
- 1/4... 14.4 @ 107.55
2nd trial pass (on slicks) -
- 60ft...2.3 (I wasn't able to do a burn-out because the ******* idiots had no water in the box)
-1/4... 14.0 @ 107.98
With those trap speeds in mind I just set my Dial In @ 13.7 thinking that I wouldn't get a huge launch with those tiny *** slicks. Man was I wrong...
The first and only race...
60ft... 1.83 (Launched @ 7000 and slip dumped the clutch. Just roasted the tires but still pulled like all hell).
-1/4... 13.4 @ 98.5 (I passed the other car like nothing, got on the brakes hard and passed the line with him right next to me. However, I guess It was too little to late.)
All 3 runs were on 9psi untuned (AFR is 10-12 hehe) with roughly 19 degrees timing.
As soon as I get a GM 3bar, Hondata romulator and some race gas, were gonna go tune the car for high boost.
Pics...
wow the cars dirty!

So you need water to do a burn out?

Yeah about 3/4 down the track I got off the throtal, and on the brakes. We havn't dyno'd the car yet. We basically just finished it up last week so I could race on Sunday.
If all goes as planned, we should be going to the dyno in about 3 weeks.

Have you tried one with a T4, slicks, and no load?

Nice setup bryson!! I know you have a bigger intercooler for cooler air charges, but how come you cut the upper part of the bumper up so high. The reason I ask is because you can see the actual top of the intercooler from a top angle shot, which means from a front shot you are going to see even more gap from the top of the intercooler to the bumper. More than likely you cut the bumper before it was mounted up. Either way ur **** looks hot. Keep us posted when it finally gets tuned and you get that nice launch out of the hole. PEACE

SiRkid...I definetly need more seat time. I think I did pretty well for the first time on slicks, and only 3 passes on the setup.
Yeah, that crash scared the **** out of me! I talked to the driver of the mini earlier, and he was a pretty cool guy. Found out that he doesn't wear a helmet because he doesn't run fast enough to need one! When I saw him in the car however, his head is about 2" from his roll cage! I can't beleive he walked away from that.
b-ron...all I can tell you is that the car isn't tuned, it was my first time racing the setup, and I'm at 6000ft. Those are my excuses, and I'm sticking too it
To the guy that was in that 350z...I can't beleive you guys wern't hurt! I saw the entire crash, and I think my heart just skipped a beat when I saw you sideways @ 100mph.
Jordo...The AFR is from 10-12, and the timing is really conservative for 9psi so its not gonna explode on me(19 degrees total advance).
The lip looked great when I didn't have the IC installed . When the IC is on, it bows out the bumper which makes it look all ghetto...but I don't really care.
I cut the bumper so high to increase air flow into the engine bay, and through the radiator. Since I had to relocate the fan infront of the rad, the more air I can push through it while driving the better.

The Yonaka has 2 internal fins per bar of the core. They just stretch the entire length of the core. Is it as efficent as say a Garret core? Hell no. Does it work...yes. I havn't logged the Intake air temps yet, but that is definetly one of the things I will be doing when I go to the dyno. If the log does show really high temps when I'm in boost, I will upgrade to either a PWR core, or Precision.
The turbo starts to spool around 4500, and I have full boost at 5000.
Thanks for the compliments guys! Couldn't have done it without HT.
