Hey guys I've had my car for about 5 months now. I bought it with a comptech icebox (icebox and arm). Anyways just recently there is this high pitched humming sound that is constantly heard at idle. (I dont mean the squeak sound when driving I know thats normal). I know that it wasn't there before and it has been occuring recently. But when I'm driving at low rpms such as 3k and I let off the gas and cruise, you hear this awful low pitched hum sound. I can really hear it when I change gears. Whenever I shift, I hear this almost like dying sound almost like a leak. Its really hard to describe the sound but I know that it's comming from the intake. Any suggestions on what it is. Maybe I just need to clean the filter? The sound doesn't seem to affect performace but its just really annoying and bugging the hell out of me! Any help guys? Thanks

 

Take it off the car and make sure its not the intake, could be something totally different.
