Default LS rod strength?

how high can you rev Ls rods? I'm thinking of putting an LS crank in a GSR block and the rods will have to stand up to 8000+ rpms. I would be using ARP rod bolts for sure, but I'm not sure on the strength of the rod itself. they can't be that much worse than GSR rods... I would like hard evidence please. personal experience would be best. speculation won't help here.

The rods are not as strong as the gsr rods. The problem is the rod to stroke ratio and the piston speed. They should be a little better with arp rod bolts but i wouldnt go above 8000 or 8200 with the ls rods. Do youself a favor and get some aftermarket rods. That will make you feel better when you are reving the crap out of it.
