Jack Points
I bled my brakes this weekend (more bleeding is still needed) and came up with a question about jack points\procedure. I lifted the car from the front jack points and put my jack stands under the front LCAs. This was fine and good for bleeding the brakes but now I'm wondering. What if I was working on the suspension and needed it unloaded? I didn't see a front crossmember that I could use to jack just the front of the car up. That would alow me to slide the jack stands under the normal jack points. So what gives? How do you guys go about it? How do you get it off the ground to work on all four corners?
the front of the car in the middle theres a spot thats marked
its by the radiator...jack that to slide jacks on the front 2 side jack points
jack the rear in the frame or the tow hook and slide the jacks on the back two points

On 98+ integras, the front jacking point no longer has the plastic cover with an arrow over it, the plastic is trimmed out and you'll see a nub, about the size of a zippo lying flat (little bigger)...that's the front point, same place as in the pic. I actually cut the plastic out of the way on my GS-R, was the difference between getting the jack in there with the lowered car and not.
Thanks guys -- good stuff. I saw the point on the front but I was worried it was a radiator support which apparently it is, just one that's strong enough to support the car. You'll have to excuse me, this is the first FF I've owned. On most FRs I've worked on there was a crossmember between the front LCAs that you could use and the radiator support would just buckle under the weight. As you can tell the wrenching on this car has just begun...
