i know the ctr cams are more aggressive than itr cams, at least the older itr's. but for the money, which are better: skunk2 or ctr? its about a $400 difference in price and i wanted to know if it was worth it to just save up for the skunks.

 

there are other companys that offer performance parts other than skank and oem honda.

I have CTR intake/ITR exhaust cams and I'm pleased with the power upgrade from GSR cams... It pulls just fine for me, and made decent power... A friend of mine however, has an LS/VTEC also but he has Jun III cams and his car pulls way harder up top... I personally would like to upgrade to S2S2, but that's a little while down the road... For that $400 price difference, you'll prolly gain 8-12 whp with proper tuning...

i got skunk2 stage 1 in my gsr, and i like them just fine. if you plan on buying brand new skunk2 cams instead of used ones then go with the ctr just because the price difference is not worth it, but if you are getting used ones then go with skunk2 since it wont be that big of a difference in price and you will get a little bit better performance out of the skunks2 cams

 

Have you considered something like the Buddy Club cams? With a 2 layer headgasket and slight milling, they would be ideal for a daily driver.
