Default HELP!!!.... oil pressure sending unit

what is the easiest way to take off the oil pressure sending unit without taking off the intake manifold, or do i absoutly have to take it off.

you can get to the sending uning from under the car.....just like your changing the oil filter its sitting right beside it.......you may have to remove the oil filter to give yourself more room to remove it. i do belive its a pretty big socket....22 or 24mm is needed to remove it.

who ever told you you need to take the intake manifold off does not know what they are talking about and you should not take anymore advice from them.

where exactley is the oil pressure sending unit? I disconnected a green connection off of what I thought was the sending unit...it was straight up from the filter under the intake manifold...but there is also another connecting up and to the left of the oil filter with a rubber boot on in with wires coming out of it...which one is the sending unit?????

the sending unit is the one to the left of the oil filter with the rubber boot on it

You just unplug it at the back I think. Just looking at mine, it seems to be bigger than 24mm and smaller than 27mm, looks like I have to buy a new socket

Mine is just a spade terminal so it just pulls outwards.
