Unless you have serious cash, please don't buy a 1988-1991 Prelude. All poor people do are stupid things to them.

A 3rd gen is a very fun car to drive, but unfortunately the engine is rather limited in what you can do to improve performance.
About the only way to make any serious gains are either a custom turbo, or nitrous.

The only motor that drops in is a JDM b20a, or an h22a with a some work.

Because everyone who has them does stupid things... like putting on 18's on a completely stock car... or some stupid eBay shift ****. They look retarded. These cars need money to look good. I'm just tired of seeing ugly 3rd gens haha.

It will cost you several thousand dollars to get it to work. You need at least a custom headgasket, and several holes drilled into the block. And then... you have a cheap *** b20VTEC. To fully take advantage of that, you'll need to build the motor as well.

Sure do. I love my car too, no one else has these on H-T.. it's nice being able to be different be reform at the same time.

I'm actually in the process of welding my manifold right now... turbo should be done in a couple of days.

JDM B20A Motor, Rebuilt D2A4 Tranny, H&R Sport Springs, Tokico Blue Struts, Custom UCA's, Orjin UCA Bushings, Goodridge SS Braided Brake Lines, Brembo Blanks, AXXIS Metal Masters, some audio stuff, Boost and Oil Pressure in pillar pod, V-AFC2, VIS Carbon Fiber Hood, Custom Catback Exhaust, and custom turbo setup is being installed right now.

I'll be honest -- if you want to make power with these cars, turbo it.

Semi-true. With my income I could afford pretty much any car on a loan I wanted right now. BMW M3, STi, EVO8, etc. But I don't want a car payment, so I am sticking with my Prelude. I'd much rather put my money into that rather than being slammed with a car bill each month and be stuck with some stock supercar.
