Default racing seat/seatbelts install??

i jsut got me some knockoff red recaros and they look prety good..problem is, i dont wanna lose my seatbelts. i already have my airbags disconnected because i got a type r wheel and took teh pass. side one out. i got a 96 hatch..i was going to just use my stock rails, but that dont look like it will work since they connect to the side of the seats and the reclining mechanism is all part of it...how did u guys put these in?

dont really get what you are talking about? you bought a seat and a racing harness?

i just installed my race seat and harness a few days ago, i just bolted two bolts for the harness to the rear seat belt holes, and made some washers up for the other 2 bolts up front. and a custom mounting bracket. but in your case just get some second hand rails and get someone to mate them.

I'm not sure how much they cost but sparco(and I'm sure a knockoff company too) makes a rail you mount in the back to give you the corect angle and setup for your 4 or 5 point harness. check it out
