Think someone was in my car last night!
Well, it was mostly my fault because I forgot to lock the car doors!
But when I got in to go to work, I noticed that the deck was kind of hanging out a bit. I gave it a little tug, and the whole thing pulled out. But if they got that far, why not just take the thing? And they left my CDs in the back seat. Shouldn't there be screws holding the deck in?
The more I think about it...I think that the owner before me had an aftermarket deck in, and put the stock deck back in when he traded the car in. He just didn't screw the thing back in. Damn, this is enough to shake me up a bit. I'm paranoid now, I feel like watching my car tonight to make sure nothing happens!

Yea, there is a small screw holding it to the frame, it's kind of a pain to get to though.... have to make like a gymnist under your dash. Mine used to fall out and hit my hand when doing hard shifts

Do you think possibly it slipped out a bit on the way to work, and you just didn't notice it untill you went back out to the car? My aftermarket Deck slips out a little on hard shifting, I've just been too lazy to get in there and mount it better.

It's fairly easy to change your CD player. There are a few websites on doing a swap with an aftermarket deck. I'd say the hardest part is getting the two rear screws out...
Otherwise, cut, wire and play.
