I just want to know or see a fast JRSC'd honda.... I always see 14's and some 13's. Any better than that?

 

I forget what his screen name is, but he ran 12's with a jrsc and nitrous. On a sohc at that

I had 2 - both daily driven street cars at the time:

93 del sol si...sohc w/ spray 12.1 @ 115 back in 2001
My CRX that is now turbo - 11.88 @ 113 w/ 7 lbs and 30 shot on stock motor.

Don(Dan - not sure) Stefani has gone 11.1 in a full out race car with JRSC.

 

impressive numbers.

 

with this intercooler i made, i hit a 12.1 @ 112 while running ice water thru it.

Donny Stefani..that same car ran 12.40s like 3-4 years ago with the JRSC/spray and sohc..when it was a street car.

My boy did 10.45 @ 142mph EG when Atomic was around......I do have the pics...

 

i had a B16 crx with jrsc and a 40 shot, 11.87

Thats good numbers it was an intercooler that you made?

 

damn that is moving. It was probably mostly due to alot of spray that the car ran that fast. Brian

 

I didn't actually fabricate the intercooler. I basically took apart the JRSC manifold and blower and designed a mock up "intercooler" made out of wood first to "test fit" the spacing. I had to relocate my oil filter, cut down alot of stuff and modify alot of things to get the fuggin intercooler sandwiched in the engine bay. The intercooler sandwiches between the intake manifold and the blower. I designed the intercooler and got all the dimensions needed, then SPEARCO in cali, made the intercooler. cost me about 750 for them to tkae a core and add 1/8" plates to my specs.
heres a pic of the intercooler installed on the car. It's hard to see because it sandwiched between the manifold and the intercooler.

i ran 12.80's at 113 full int. civichb a/c daily driven on nitto 555r's stock gsr motor 10lbs hondata 440's kamikazie 2 1/2" all the way back.

 

i ran a 12.5 in my daily driven civic back in 01 on 22" slicks no nitrous. the limiting factor is the intake temps. I dataloged several passes at 200+ degree intake temps. That is why it reponds so well to nitrous.

 

Dam i didnt even know there were that many fast JRSC cars.... very impressive people.... anymore?
