Default Pistons,Cranks and Rods oh my

Well guys I need your help YET again. I am in the process of buying new pistons and rods. But I have two questions that I must know because I want to build this correctly. Question 1 should I up my comperssoin ratio? ( note: I am not planning on adding a turbo ) if so what is a realistic hp gain by doing so? question 2 If I up my compersion ratio do I have to sleeve my block? Do I have to change by oem crank? GUYS I REALLY NEED HELP TO GET THIS DONE.PLEASE PLEASE HELP A HONDA HEAD LIKE YOURSELVES OUT!!

engine? You shouldn't need to sleeve unless you want something ridiculous way over 12:1 compression...

And the crank rarely needs to be changed, maybe micro-polished, but changed out to what?

what motor are you talking about? Is this a daily driven car? Honda cranks are bullet proof. If you are wanting all motor then yeah you want a higher compression. Just have the crank micro polished and you'll be good to go with that
