Ok right now, I'm stuck on which kit to get..its either the VIS mugen style 6pc fiberglass kit for $600 shipped and installed to my liking from a local shop or $752 shipped for the WW 6pc urethane kit from the net??

 

urethane > fiberglass.

 

you couldnt MAKE me put a fiberglass kit on my crx

 

I got an old school fiberglass WW kit on my CRX.

It's a lot stronger than I ever imagined. Its survived a LOT of abuse over the past couple years. If you have the money, I know urethane is better but a good quality fiberglass kit isnt THAT bad. Just dont go buy those "Mugen style" ones on ebay for $299. They're paper thin and the fitment is horrible.

 

urethane ... u might have a hell of a problem fitting f/g and selling it later if u change ur mind

 

anybody have experience with VIS products?? wanna know how the fitment, quality is..TIA..

A friend hit a rabbit doing 55 and his front bumper shattered. Good game fiberglass. I hit a large dog at 60 and it just bounced off and died. Urethane, I <3 u. - Darrell

BWAHAHAHA i laughed at that for like 10 minutes hahaha

anyway i would say go with urethane

 

No bumper is standing up to a 60mph hit by a dog without any damage

 

vis kits fit real nice if u cut the bunper in half and re fiberglass it
