Are you sure it's not wheel hop?
Do you get really bad vibrations when accelerating, which goes away completely if you let off the gas? If so your axle inner joints are shot.
Shaking right when you first launch is probably more likely wheel hop, though.

if you are launching hard then it is probably wheel hop, but if it is just normal then you need to have them checked out. look at the boots and see if there are any tears or rips in it, if there is then your axels are probably bad.

most likely, if it shakes during high speeds and high R,P,M...it's the inner c.v.joint. They usually shake untill you let off the pedal...then they stop. Axles usually run abot 75 to 100 dollars per side. That may or may not be the problem......but I would check them first.

i have the samething happen to me. wat mods do u have on the car? maybe its time for some better axles, insurein stable luanches. also, wat kind of suspensions do u have? then ask yurself if they all work together. u can even get a stablizer kit to insure better tire to track. they run for around 100-150 around.

i have modest mods. just usual bolt ons port and polish titanium pistons pulleys and cams and as for my suspension i have coil overs and tokicos hp
wat kind of coilovers? and its not really a problem but i say get different coilovers and the axles are really for ppl who push more then 300 hp, i mean u can still run wit them find but u will see an improvement. if u go coilovers, it always best to go fullset, but some out there are good enough but can't match the handlin of full sets.

Axles can shake, when the inner joints are bad. When the joints get worn out or get loose, they vibrate. I have this problem too. What you're (yeegsr) talking about is most likely clutch chatter, totally different situation.

lol, you beat me to that. I don't think this guy has any idea what he has.
This really just sounds like wheel-hop. Does it do it when you just normally start off in 1st?

that was my bad i just bought the car and i was told that it had titanium pistons. at 1st i was iffy cause i know porsches are the only cars that have them and to put them in the teg would cost $$ and have to refinish some parts of the engine...cylinders i believe.. cause titanium tends to grab onto other metal parts. but i didnt care i got the teg for a good deal. 3000 never been in accident no dents and not stolen with 78ooo miles confirmed. who can pass up that sale?! plus i wasnt gonna pay to have some guy take apart my motor to see if i do have them but to the ones who tried to help with info thanx. much appreciated

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think titanium would be suitable for pistons. I know people have had problems with titanium retainers on B-series engines because they don't seem to be as strong as stock retainers.
