my t stat is broken how hard is it to fix, like can i do it my self or should i leave it to the

If you mean that your thermostat isn't opening then just go buy a new one from autozone or pep boys and put it in. its only 2 screws holding the housing on where the thermostat sits. just take those out then pull out the old thermostat and put the new one in. its that simple. a 10min job.
