his vtec has been studdering so we took off his vtec solenoid. from the pic, to me it looks pretty clean, what do you guys think? but we just thought we would clean it anyways. so what do we do, just spray some wd40, rinse it off with water, and let it dry? do you have to lubercate it before you put it back on?

nope is not the filter
there should be a mesh in there preventing anything
to go in thru those passages

 

this is a usdm h22, they didnt come with the mesh

hahaha, are you 100% sure theres suppose to be a screen?

cuz when we took it off there wasnt one...

 

yeap read the thread you posted but
it makes sense thicker and mesh = no dirt going in and sealing better.
