Default Remove Airbag

I have a nice MOMO steering wheel laying around here and want to replace my stock one with a airbag in it. Could not find an old post telling me how to take off my steering wheel with airbag. Is there anything I have to reset, take out a fuse or disconnect the battery? Don't want to get the airbag in my face disconnecting it.

Ow, and I'll probably have to disconnect my SRS light that checks my airbag, write?

Think that link is terminal try this actual page :

It's a write up on putting a s2k steering wheel on, but it shows you step by step removal of stock wheel.

How would that make a difference?

a) if it accidentally deploys, you won't have to worry about an airbag unit being propelled across the room.

b) honda says so, and we always do what honda tells us
