JDM LOVERS AND HATERS
DAMN...SO MANY POST HATING "RICERS".... and ppl loving "JDM"
this is my 2 cents...
WHY PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO MAKE YOUR CAR LOOK SOMETHING THAT ITS NOT... (assuming you didn't import you car) what makes you love the "japanese domestic market" i mean... the japanese ppl are probably laughing at you guys... "stupid americans... buying our jdm bullshit"
jdm is chill but why hate on others if its not their style...

I like any car that has had work done to it and it's clean (not half-assed), i.e. parts not falling off, paint is all the same color, engine work isn't half assed, suspension doesn't consist of cut springs and blow shocks, etc. It can be jdm, usdm, edm, hkdm, kdm, wtfdm, doesn't matter to me.

let people do what they want wether it be bodykits and wings or JDM frontends and wheels....

have you checked out any of the car shows in JDMland? they're trying to be americanized, just as much as we're trying to be JDM. which isnt really my point. my point is that we dont TRY to be JDM just cause its overseas and cool. but we ACTUALLY like it, so dont bash on what we like ya homo.

of course in JDM land (i am from singapore) picking up a USDM front end doesn't cost thousands of dollars When i was there, my friends picked up USDM front ends for close to original sale value (800ish for the entire front end). So i'd be laughing too if some other nation was buying my nations 'trash' for thousands of dollars.

i dont know why everyone in the US thinks aftemarket bumpers are rice...brands such as C West or Bomex isn't rice to you all but Ground Designs or Blitz is? Not everyone has the same taste and everybody would buy something that looks appealing to them. This Rice thing is getting out of hand

If you asked me 3-4 years ago body kits etc was the ****!
JDM is the new rice! Now people is trying to go back to stock JDM or OEM.
Whatever is on style people do 4-5 years from now we are all going to be rice again! Maybe stock wheel will get the volks out, who knows **** happens.
For some people who already did widebodys etc is too late to go back OEM without putting some money in etc. Still most of the cars on magazines are still rice out yo, widebodys etc but done in a different way and we still like to look at them but keep our rice or JDM.
People on the JDM side now hate rice and bull **** about it, even though they now at some point they have some kind of body kit or at least liked rice maybe there is still a kit on the back yard that they are trying to get rid of. Why do you think people comes and sell **** here all the time?
To me whatever people like is kool at the end you didn't built your car for people to tell you what they like or want on your car, you did it for you cuze you like it yo!
