i have a check engine light connect service connector

the check eng light blinks slow 4 times then fast 2 times.

but i cant find cel 42??

42 right??? but there is no cel 42 is there? cant find it on the code list

i checked it 3 times.

i put a paper clip in service connector on passenger side clikc the ignition to on not starting the car.

the check engine light blinks 4 times slowly and then 2 times quickly and then stays lit.

is it suppose to cycle?

i have seriously never seen a code 42 before in my life. i dont know what to tell ya bro. have u tried calling honda and see if they could tell you what the code is.

 

ill try giving them a call tomorrow.

I have a chipped p28 with stock p30 programmed chip in it. i dont know it that makes a difference but i cant find code 42 anywhere

 

when im checking for codes i jump tjhe connection switch and then turn ignition on to the on position and read the cel code 42 but it doesnt repeat itself the cel just stays on is that right for my car or is it suppose to repeat?? thanks

 

now the check engiine light just stays on constantly and it wont blink when trying to get a code by connecting the serv connector
