well i was comin home from work last night and it is raining really bad cuz the hurricane, i live in athens tennessee and i was comin home and i was barely goin cuz i knew there was dip that i figured there were puddles in then all of a sudden splash and my car cut off locked up and i was stranded i tried to start it and it struggled adn wouldnt start tried to do it again and it wouldnt even turn over id appreciate your help

More info might help. What happens when you turn the key in the ignition, anything?

 

nothing happens it kinda acts like hte battery is dead but its not i dont knoe it barely tries to turn over it kinda studders and then dies

sounds like you mighta hydrolocked... tough lucky buddy

now don't go runnin out to buyin ya a new motor young fella... it ain't necessarily that there hydrolock thingy.
hydrolock would lock up your engine and it wouldn't turn.
you might have some fried electronics, coils, plug wares. do ya some more intense investigationing to see beferrin ya goes and buys an H22.

 

Do the first things first. Check for a CEL. Check for correct battery voltage. Go to Advanced or wherever and get the alternator checked. Get the starter checked. Get the distributor checked. Most car places check a lot of that stuff for free.
