Default Need a little help

I have a 88 civic automatic, I noticed the auto transmission got really cluncky in reverse and shifting down from 3rd to 2nd, i can't tell if its a balljoint, or if its in the tramsmission. It vibrates pretty bad in reverse, but drives normal in drive in all 4 gears accept when shifting down to 2nd when passing Porsches and Vipers, (that last part was a joke)

Any info or ideas would be helpful.
