** HELP me! my ITR guage cluster isnt workinn in my 00 Canadian GSR!!
ok so i just got this cluster in the mail today. It is a JDM ITR cluster. so i take my gsr Canadian cluster out, and plug in the ITR cluster. Then the temp guage goes beyond HOTT....and gas goes below Empty. I researched a few days ago and its supposed to register the gas thats in there. So i though maybe they didnt know? so i took it back out took the cover off and adjusted the gas guage to how much i had in my tank. Then i plugged it back in. This time the hazards lights were going off on the cluster. so i pushed the hazard button in my car thinking that i just bumped, and when i did that the "brights" light started flashing. The RPMs were jumping between 700 and 1000? so i unplugged it and pluged it back in. And its saying HOTT and EMPTY.....but the RPMS are working! So i called the local import race shop....and they said that most guages are plug n play unless you have a 2001 or something and something about Canadian. so i hope its not cause my car is Canadian!....
Does anyone know what it could be?
Please help me? i love this cluster so much.

i have answered this question so many times and i've only been registered on honda tech for like a few months!
94-97 clusters work for 94-97 integras
98-01 clusters work for 98-01 integras
this is not specific to JDM or USDM. it is simply all clusters around the world should follow these rules. if you had the right cluster, it would have worked from the start. to use the wrong cluster for your model, you must swap the green film on the back of the cluster.
USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. it will save yourself and everyone a lot of trouble.

actually you need to swap the whole white backing and green film and ICON pictures for everything to work perfectly.

i knew you had to swap films....but i heard that it was plug and play....and the guy had it in his 99 so i figured it was already green film swapped.....abd since my car is canadian.....i wasnt sure....but its all good now! thanks guys!

ever thought that maybe he bought the wrong cluster and swapped his green film to make it work? then when he sold it to you, he swapped his original green film back and gave you the cluster with the wrong green film? there is nothing special about canadian integras. if anything, we're probably even more simliar to JDM integras because we use km/h.
