And by "all messed up" you mean what?

A better description of what happened exactly to the seat would help someone with giving you a helpful answer.

Easy - stop wearing pants that have velcro on the ***.

Otherwise - I would say the seats are probably not fixable. You can use a clothing shaver to get rid of the little pills of fabric that you have likely pulled up.

Describe the damage a little better and we might be able to help you.

Or you could just start wearing clothes entirely made of velcro and then you won't have to wear a seat belt

hehe... have them re-upolstered JDM Bling RED. hehe..

or, just put seat covers over them, no one will know the difference, Here in Hawaii we have something called "Wet Okole" Okole means *** in Hawaiian. Anyway, what they are, are custom made seat covers that are made of the wet suit kind of material, kind of like the Body Glove stuff... I forgot what the material is called...
Those seat covers look pretty SLICK...

Those are awesome. I've seen them in a lot of jeeps and some other cars. You basically can't get them dirty and water just rolls right off.

my ITR had the same wear on the butt area because the previous owner wore those velcro pants. The fix was to get a set of replacement seats.

....or just stop wearing pants. Underwear is up to you, but don't let me know about it. Those seats should never get the 'brown eye' treatment.

When i got my car back from the body shop that happened to me too. Basically i used a nail clipper to cut off all the little strands. There is not much else you can do.

There's actually a handy little tool that you can get that will take care of this problem. If you live near any major city that has a mall they should have one of those "As Seen On TV" stores where you can get just about anything you've seen on an infomercial for the wonderful price of only $19.99....opperators are standing by....

Since I know what city you life in...there is one of these stores in the Super Mall on the North Side.

There is a little machine that looks like an electric razor, accept it has larger holes on the surface of it for the fabric to enter and then be cut off. Basicly think of it as an electric razor to trim fuzz ***** and loose strands of string...etc. Also, I really think it costs $19.99
