00 Civic Suspension Question!

00 Civic Suspension Question!
I just purchased my 1st Honda, 2000 civic EX, 34K miles, took it to Honda and they checked it out, gave it 2 thumbs up....but today I noticed that the driver side rear sits .5" lower then the passenger side rear...is this normal? if so how does one fix this without cutting springs?

where'd you buy it?
possible that the spring came unseated in the perch.....
or a really really really fat person drove the car....

right before u measured ur car, did u sit on ur driver side with no one on passenger side?
cos ur weight depresses the shock and it takes around 1-2 minutes to level back with no weight height...

Its normal!
Honda had a technical service bulletin on it and said that its normal.
If you get a set of coilovers, you can level it out though.

This is perfectly normal. I freaked out after installing my springs (eibach) because the driver was lower than the pass. I asked a bunch of questions on H-T, google, Clubsi. Nobody had a straight answer, but most said it was normal.
I switched the sides the shocks were on (from left to right, and vise versa), and even re-installed the stock springs and switched from side to side. I found that all four springs that I had installed on the left side of the car sat lower than the right (although, it was barely noticeable with the stockers, which is probably why I never noticed it until I upgraded). Irrefutable evidence that the weigth distribution of the car makes the drivers side sit lower.
The only way to 'fix' the problem would be to install coilovers, and dial in the exact gap you want all around.
