Would you pay $170 for this?
Type-R rear sway bar with new Beaks kit. Is that a decent purchase? I mean, how much would my total be if I bought a brand new Type-R rear sway bar and than the Beaks kit to properly mount it?
Thanks.

Yea I got a used comptech 24mm, which is like an ITR copycat, for 100 shipped. Bushings for like 16 bones, BSQ kit 20, and skunk2 tie for 80. My setup could be better for less money, but it works well.

so i'll answer my own question, no I would't pay $170. that's roughly $80 or more than you'd pay if you bought the bar, bushings and beaks kit (NEW).
the acura dealer would charge the list price, $75..i got that price from here http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no

$99 for the JDM 23mm rear sway bar. BSQ kit $20...your set.</TD></TR></TABLE>
umm not exactly. you still need bushings, brackets, bolts, and possibly endlink bushings and endlink collars. that's at least another $20-30

Total = $124

I've had a link to the Beaks kit bookmarked forever, just haven't gotten the extra funds for it yet....
i heard that the Beaks mounts were better than BSQ...

PatrickGSR94 would be the best to ask about this, as he's owned both kits. If I had extra money I would probably get the Beaks kit only because the mounts are thick and look solid. Personally, I couldn't justify spending an extra $50 for that single reason. The BSQ is good quality though, and people have run them on their cars for years without problems. Supposedly the Beaks holds the bar a little further away from the LCA's to help if you're having problems rubbing on the ABS brackets or lines

yeah, I heard the mounts were stronger and there were brackets for both sides.. i'm not even sure. I heard that the ABS brackets had to be modified one way or another, but maybe that was just if you were going to add the Beaks Tie bar in as well.
