wheel question
i was thinking about switching in 16" wheels with 205/50 tires on them for my stocks. I have a stock suspention as well. My main concern though is will these wheels screw up my speedometer and odometer a lot and is there a way to fix it? I already ran the numbers and there is over a 3% difference (when my speedometer says 60 im really going 57.9). Are these worth getting or should I just wait and find some 17's? THe 16's are a good deal though. And also, as for suspension, i wanted to lower it just a bit to get rid of the huge wheel gap. Are skunk 2's going to be sufficent to drop it down maybe 2.5 inches and will it be a good ride? I know this is a lot to ask at once but thank you for any advice.
going slower than you really are is better than going faster... hell, itll keep tickets down
16's are a good choice to go with, wont put as much strain on an engine as 17's (extra weight) and the tires wont kill you everytime you need to replace them. once you start gettin into the 17's and above tires start gettin pretty expensive, and problems start happening. good luck with whatever you decide
Skunk2 coilovers will drop it as far as you want, so yeah its a good choice for a drop. and coilovers tend to have a harsher ride than just aftermarket shocks and springs, but hell, thats what you pay for when you want the PERFECT desired height.
