My f22 in my 92 DX was going out so I rebuilt it I spent about $4000 labor and all, I have a custom cam ground by web cams, ARIAS forged 11:1 compression pistons, new rods, full race port and polish, valve job, had the cylinders bored, 4-2-1 header, 2.5 inch pipe to big hayame exaust, with just a SRI. Hoping to go boneyard turbo soon but I need some help. I just need to know everything I will need and what to get it off of or new parts i'll have to buy, or things I'll need to cut off. I know i need a 1g or 2g DSM exaust manifold but auto or standard my car is auto for now. Thanks for any help.

 

I am pretty sure the auto and manual manifolds off the DSM are the same, but your best bet is to get into the Forced Induction forum and read your *** off. The first thing you should ditch are those 11:1 pistons. You wanna get down closer to 9 for any decent boost.

 

yeah, 11:1 pistons might be an issue... makes it pretty hard to avoid detonation at even small amounts of boost. but... with a really, really talented tuner, you could pull off some amazing numbers. considering you have an auto, i would keep the boost pretty low anyways.
