I posted a thread on this a while ago, but did not get too much help, but i need some help. My car is lower in the driver's side than the passenger. Especially in the passenger rear side. The gap is huge compared to the rest. The drop is not symmetrical whatsoever.

Now this was installed with stock shocks. Should some Koni Yellows drive away this bitch of a problem??

Another problem is i hear a grind or scraping(I have 40 offset wheels so this is not the problem) when i make a left turn, which means that it is coming from my passenger side suspension. What to do?? It sounds like rubbing from the brake shield, then again i don't know wtf it is.

Help me out please

 

the uneven lowering problem is normal among hondas/acuras...
you have to cut the spring to match or get a set of ajustable coilover springs.

the grinding sound might be your brake shield hitting the brake rotor or it can also be your exhaust heat shield too!!

You're kidding right? I don't believe this. Can osmebody back this up?

 

my old set up was like that the driver side was lower than the passenger side but it was only a tiny amount hardly noticeable only if you stuck ur fingers in there

 

It is common for the drivers side to sit lower than the passenger side, but only slightly, maybe a 1/4". Are you sure the fronts are on the front and rears on the rear? Not trying to insult you, just figured I'd ask.

thats wat i was gonna ask. thats y i got gc coilovers, dont have to worry bout that problem

 

my passenger side is lower then dirver side odd lol
maybe it evens out when i sit in it who knos lol

DO NOT cut springs, this will completely throw off your spring rates, and eventually cause even more premature wear of your struts. you may have mixed up front and rear. everyone makes mistakes.

 

i had the same problem on my 00 si

When did you install them? If you just threw them on there, at least give them a couple of days to settle. Did you put them on yourself? Are you sure the springs are nestled in the shocks right? There is a place on each shock for the end of the spring to rest in. And yeah, the wrong springs in the wrong places will definately screw you over.

 

The springs were put on right for a fact i remember. And they settled all the way to the bottom seat on the shock.

This is order from highest to lowest:

rear passenger
rear driver
front passenger
front driver-(perfect drop)

Looks like i will get a koni yellow setup to see if the seat adjustability will help this out.
